The International Conference and POP (Protect Our Planet) Festival for Youth-Led Climate Action 2024 aimed to create intergenerational and multisectoral opportunities to catalyze climate action and build collective resolve to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals while ensuring inclusivity. By bringing together various stakeholders, including global leaders, experts, and youth engaged with the POP Movement, the POP Festival focused on several key areas: climate and health, the use of technology in climate action, the role of women in sustainability leadership, and action-oriented strategies to address challenges related to climate migration and other risks from the perspectives of equity and justice. The festival also served as a platform to share the insights gained from the POP Movement’s participation at COP28. The event was conducted in hybrid mode, with in-person participation from youth in the Delhi-NCR region of India and online participation from around the world.
