We are delighted to share that Dr. Sangram Kishor Patel, Deputy Director, Population Council Institute, was an invited speaker at the 8th India Bio-Diversity Meet 2025, an international conference hosted by the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata, in collaboration with Ratanlal Brahmachary Memorial Foundation & Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Bhopal, during March 24-26, 2025.

On March 24, 2025, Dr. Patel delivered a talk on “A Nexus between Climate Change, Reproductive Health, and Gender: With Special Focus on India.” His talk highlighted the critical connections between environmental changes, public health, and gender disparities, emphasizing the need for urgent, evidence-based interventions.

The conference provided an excellent platform for experts and researchers to exchange insights on biodiversity, sustainability, and public health challenges.
