The Mera Rozgar program aims to provide women with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to improve their lives and contribute to their communities. Our mission is to enable underprivileged women to become financially independent and self-sufficient, allowing them to break free from the cycle of poverty.
Our three skill centers are hubs of transformation, offering practical, hands-on training that is directly aligned with the needs of the job market. Beyond technical skills, we focus on building confidence, self-esteem, and entrepreneurial spirit to ensure the success of every participant.
The program is structured into four key stages to ensure that every participant receives personalized and high-quality training that meets her unique needs and goals.
We begin by assessing each participant’s existing skills, background, and aspirations. By identifying strengths and areas for improvement, we ensure that participants receive focused and effective training.
Our hands-on training program lasts six months, during which participants are taught the fundamentals and advanced techniques of stitching, smocking, and embroidery. They work with skilled trainers to perfect their craft, learning how to create garments, decorative items, and more.
We organize workshops, exhibitions, and community events where participants can showcase their work to potential employers and buyers. These events not only help build confidence but also provide an opportunity to network and establish a professional presence in the marketplace.
Our team works closely with each participant to match their skills with local employment opportunities, or to guide them in setting up their small businesses.
