Department of Management Studies, Satyug Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology successfully conducted a regional seminar on “Introduction to Securities Market” in collaboration with National Securities Depository Limited.

They explained about Demat accounts, trading accounts, ETFs, and the various services offered by NSE. They also covered topics like client dealings, mutual funds, solving complaints, liquidity, investing, how inflation affects investments, stocks, shares, and derivatives.
Mr. Karan Kohli informed about the NSDL e-services like e-voting mobile services and its status in Indian Financial System.
Ms. Smriti Kanna, HOD, Department of Management Studies, SDIET acknowledged the valuable discourse by the speakers. The momentous were given to the renounced guests for their gratitude and their words of wisdom.
The seminar proved really useful for the students as they learned about important financial topics like mutual funds, trading accounts, Demat accounts, ETFs, stocks, shares, and derivatives. They also got insights into the various services provided by NSE, SEBI, and NSDL. In addition, they were taught how to keep themselves safe from fraud.
The Department of Management Studies at SDIET also acknowledged and appreciated the students who organized the regional seminar by awarding them certificates of appreciation.
